When it rains it pours! Both girls have come into season at the same time
. The puppies will born at the end of April or very begining of May, and should be ready for their forever homes at the end of June.
There was a change in plans for Chloe. Mother Nature dictated that she needed to be bred this weekend, and Fed Ex couldn’t accommodate us! So I needed to find a boy with all of the great qualities I was looking for…not an easy task…. I can’t believe how I lucked out! Xander from www.oceanstatelabradoodles.com had a free dance card this weekend, so Chloe and I took a road trip together. Xander is amazing! He is 19″ and 36lbs, with a fabulous dark chocolate fleece coat (I couldn’t stop running my hands through it!). He was like a little brown teddy bear and just wanted to cuddle up to someone. I expect puppies that will mature to 17-19″ , and weigh 25-35 lbs. Genetics tell me that the puppies should be 1/2 brown and 1/2 black (all should have some white marks). There is a slight chance that Xander carries for parti and might produce some full parti pups, but that will just be a bonus if it happens! Here is a picture of Xander:

I still plan on having Ruby honeymoon with Sporty. She will most likely be bred next weekend.
